Friday Cardio & Strength

Today I did Richard Simmons Dance Your Pants Off (45 min) and then I did various strength exercises with 3, 5, and 8 lb dumbells and ab exercises on the big ball and ab exercises with the 6 lb medicine ball. Then I stretched. (20 min for weights and stretching).

Dance Your pants off is fun and not to difficult, the moves are easier than Groovin' in the House. The only Richard Simmons tape I found to be to hard was Disco Sweat, I got it from the library and they just moved way to fast. There was one ok speed song then the next they would go really fast, it was one fast then one ok and so on. Yikes.

Wednesday Strength & Pilates

Today I did from The Method Precision video section 1 upper body with 3 lb weights (20 min), then I did the last 5 minutes from section 2 Legs which is the side leg series then I did section 3 stretching (20 minutes). Today I realized that I can bend over and put my palms flat on the first first thing in the morning. My flexibility has really improved! It must be all that stretching.

I bought Crunch Pick Your Spot Pilates and Richard Simmons Dance Your Pants Off today. I've been looking for this Richard Simmons tape for a long time.

Tuesday Cardio

Today I did the Best of Step Reebok TV beginners segment 1 (20 min). I have a "The Step" I don't use risers, I'm only 5' 3 1/2" tall and it's high enough. The I stretched.

I bought Living Arts Power Yoga Strength for Beginners with Rodney Yee (20 min) and The Method Precision Yoga which has 3 different 20 minute workouts.

Yesterday my younger sister called to wish me a Happy Birthday. It was really weird because I haven't talked to her in like 4 years. I also got to talk briefly to my 7 and 11 year old nieces. Thank god she hasn't had anymore kids. She's 31, her B-day was last week.

Monday Happy Birthday to Me

Today I am 33 years old.

I did the first 15 minutes of my Kathy Ireland aerobics tape then I did the exercises on the ball with resistance bands from Jim Karas book Flip the Switch plus stationary lunges with the 6 lb medicine ball and 2 different ab exercises with the med ball and push-ups with my hands on the big ball and knees on the floor. Then I did lots of yoga stretches. I need to use the smaller green band when I do the side steps next time. I did two sets of the book exercises.

I weighed 138 today, I ate way to much junk over the weekend. Way to much.

I went to Taco Time with Mom for dinner. I had a crisp beef burrito and tater tots (both deep fried). I haven't been there in about 3 years.

Saturday Yoga

Today I did the Kundalini Living Arts tape again. Maybe the novelty of it has worn off it just seemed long. I think that I will do weights tomorow.

Yesterday I bought a video, "Crunch Best Arms and Abs". I already have their "Killer Legs" and I want "Crunch Brand New Butt" because the name just cracks me up.



Two more days until I turn 33. I must enjoy being 32 while I can.

Thursday Cardio

My lower back doesn't hurt today, I thought it might from that Kundalini tape. Today I did Buns of Steel 7 Step Aerobics with Tamilee Webb, (40 min) which I've never done before. It was fine, not to hard but still a lot of work, I'd do it again. My waist still measures 31". I was going to do an easier tape but then decided I should at least try to work harder on the aerobics. Above my waist I look great nice abs, but all my fat is in my tummy and it doesn't seem to budge no matter how hard I try. It's discouraging. I measured a few months ago at the fattest part of my stomach was 39" but I haven't measured it again. I'm afraid to. My arms and legs look pretty good from lifting all those weights. I won't complain anymore. I'm in a lot better shape than I was a few months ago.

It's nice a sunny today which is great because it was so foggy last night. My neck is sore, I didn't sleep very well at all tossing and turning and had really bad dreams. Maybe I should go to bed earlier? Well it's back to work for my. I'll blog again soon.

Wednesday Yoga

Today I did the Living Arts Kundalini Yoga tape that I got at the library. It's 55 minutes long and led by a woman named Gurmukh who is 58 but looks much younger in face and body. Boy it was very different than any other yoga tape I've ever done but I liked it.

I got two pairs of seamless panties at Victoria's Secret today. They are so comfy. My undies are bit baggy after loosing weight, it was time for some new ones.

Sunday Strength

Today I did 12 minutes from Richard Simmons Groovin' in the House for a warmup and then I did Fitness Magazine's Total Toning (30 min). Boy it was a tough workout, I was really sweating. I can feel it in my tricepts, I used 5 lbs for all the exercises and I should probably use 3 on the tricept ones. I did two extra ab exercises with my 6 lb medicine ball.

My pain has been really bad lately. I hope I can get through this.

Thursday Cardio

Today I did Leslie Sansone's Walk Your Way Brisk Walk that was put out by Jenny Craig. It's 30 minutes of Walking (2 miles) and 15 minutes of easy yoga stretches. It was fine but be warned she talks and talks in this one.
