Monday Yoga

Today I did On the Ball Yoga with Sara Ivanhoe (42 min). I'm so glad my bad is almost back to normal and I am able to exercise without to much problems. It's sunny and windy. The dog thinks it's nice out so he keeps wanting out.

& Yoga

At 4pm I did Yoga Zone for Beginners (50 min). My back is feeling better.

Wednesday Core Program

Today I did the last 10 minutes of the 2 mile Leslie Sansone Walk Away the Pounds tape my mom was doing then beginning program from the book The Core Program : Fifteen Minutes a Day That Can Change Your Life by Peggy Brill. It went much quicker than last time. My leg muscles are so tight in my left leg. But it is helping, my back and leg pain is less. Anything to get rid of the pain. I had a hard time sleeping again last night. I need to get a better chair to sit in while watching tv at night.

Tuesday Core Program Day 1

My lower back has been so bad and it's not getting much better on it's own, so I got a book to try from the library. The Core Program by Peggy Brill who is a physical therapist. She says not to do crunches, the shorten your rectus abdominus muscle and casue lower back problems. Well it's probably true I'm in such pain I was doing a lot more crunches before all hell broke loose on my back. So I did the beginners exercises, it's supposed to take 15 minutes but it took an hour with me carefully reading the directions. I marched in place for 5 minutes to warm up first. Cross your fingers for me that it will help.

Monday Yoga

Today I did Yoga Zone Introduction to Yoga for Beginners (50 min). It's the first Yoga tape I ever got, I haven't done it is so long because I thought it was boring, slow and to easy but with my back hurting like it does it's the only tape I can try to do. I could not bend over and touch the ground without bending my knees so that's what I did. I did the whole tape without to much problem. I really need to stretch my leg muscles, they are so tight now. It's hard to believe I'll ever do it again. I used to be able to thought my palms to the floor.

Pain Pain go away, that will be my new mantra.

Monday Cardio & Strength

Today I did Densie Austins's Lowfat Diet and Exercise (32 min Cardio) and then I did Winsor Pilates Bun and Thigh Sculpting.

Strength & Stretching

Today I did Richard Simmons Tonnin' Uptown (30) and then I did the third section from The Method Precision Pilates (20 min).

Yesterday I bought some new videos Denise Austin Lowfat Diet and Exercise, Yoga Journal's Yoga for Flexibility and Karen Voight Core Essentials.
