Today I did Oxycise. I thought it sounded like a scam (lose weight by breathing) when I first heard about it but it's not. It really works. You breathe a particular way that's not difficult or complicated (unlike Kundalini Yoga) and hold positions. I started doing it in late May. They have a chat board on http://www.oxycise.com called Oxychat where people can chat about it. I still do yoga and Pilates occasionally and walking workout videos frequently. I started doing Callanetics again a few weeks ago. I like to do the Quick Callanetics because they are only 20 mins. My cocker Spaniel died at age 13 last November, it was really hard. I gained about 10 lbs from being depressed and snacking to much at night while watching TV. I'm still drinking pepsi but plan to quit caffine again soon.

It was nice and Sunny today, but not to hot.

So on Sunday I night I had a dream about an old boyfriend from college but woke up before anything interesting happened. Don't think I've ever dreamed of him before. Hmmm... Now on to cleaner thoughts.

Halloween was fun. It was raining but I had 26 trick or treaters, that's way more than last year I was really surprised.

I'm still exercising about 5 days a week. I won a dvd player on Saturday and today I got to try out my Yoga Zone Total Body Conditioning dvd. It was great. Bye to Now.

Boy is it hot!

It's really hot today! I did Leslie Sansone's 2 mile Walk Away the Pounds for Abs today, then I did the Basic section and combo one from Fat Burning for Dummies. I also did some ab and back exercises from Liz Gillies book on the large ball.

They are stil working on the cell phone tower and it's very noisy.

I still haven't quit drinking Pepsi. I promise no more this time.

Tuesday Cardio and Yoga

Boy, it's been months since I posted anything here! I quit drinking caffeine last year in May (I think). I still exercise regularly. Well, I've been drinking Pepsi again, but promise to stop when this box is empty.

Today I did Leslie Sansone's Walk Away from Your Stress video (32 min). It's harder than her other tapes because she does less just walking in place so. I really liked it. Then I did the 2nd section section from Yoga Zone's Yoga for Weight Loss (20 mins).

The weather has been so bad! The tomatoes aren't growing, but the blueberries are really doing well. There are tons more berries than ever before. Now if we just had some sun so they would ripen. The robins keep trying to eat the unripe blueberries so we put some aluminum foil out and it seems to scare them off.

They are putting a cell phone tower up half a block down the street. I'm wondering if we'll all get cancer now or what? Time to think about moving. I can't believe they put it up here in a residential neighborhood.

Monday Yoga

Today I did On the Ball Yoga with Sara Ivanhoe (42 min). I'm so glad my bad is almost back to normal and I am able to exercise without to much problems. It's sunny and windy. The dog thinks it's nice out so he keeps wanting out.

& Yoga

At 4pm I did Yoga Zone for Beginners (50 min). My back is feeling better.

Wednesday Core Program

Today I did the last 10 minutes of the 2 mile Leslie Sansone Walk Away the Pounds tape my mom was doing then beginning program from the book The Core Program : Fifteen Minutes a Day That Can Change Your Life by Peggy Brill. It went much quicker than last time. My leg muscles are so tight in my left leg. But it is helping, my back and leg pain is less. Anything to get rid of the pain. I had a hard time sleeping again last night. I need to get a better chair to sit in while watching tv at night.

Tuesday Core Program Day 1

My lower back has been so bad and it's not getting much better on it's own, so I got a book to try from the library. The Core Program by Peggy Brill who is a physical therapist. She says not to do crunches, the shorten your rectus abdominus muscle and casue lower back problems. Well it's probably true I'm in such pain I was doing a lot more crunches before all hell broke loose on my back. So I did the beginners exercises, it's supposed to take 15 minutes but it took an hour with me carefully reading the directions. I marched in place for 5 minutes to warm up first. Cross your fingers for me that it will help.
