Monday ugh!

It's Monday. Yipee. Pain in pretty bad today I took an Alieve after lunch sure hope it helps even a tiny bit. It's very nice and sunny, upper 70's I think. I trimmed my older dog's hair today, he's a Cocker Spaniel and it's been to hot for him. He hated getting it done but I know best. He'll forgive me, he always does. Today the UPS man delivered my Columbia Sportswear jackets that have been repaired for free under the warranty. One had the zipper replaced, the other had two snaps replaced. They look Great!! I used some cheap (under $3) Queen Helene Oatmeal and Honey facial scrub on my arm and legs and now they're soft. It's to harsh for my face, with I could find a scrub to use on my face that's reasonably priced. I've been using Clinique Clarifying lotion 2 on my face it was great at first but after a few days I thing it's to drying. I should see if they have some less harsh toner or get the grapeseed kind from the Body Shop. The Body Shop isn't putting out a catalog anymore. I remember in college my neighbor used to give me her catalog when she was done it was fun to read. I use their Ice Blue shampoo which they quit making again. Maybe they will make it again after severmonths of people complaining. The North Shore is on Fox tonight, I like it. I'd like to go to Hawaii someday.

Over the weekend I got a really cute Pochaco purse and 2 sport bras. Last week I got a canvas Puppy vintage orange crate label purse. I really need to quit buying stuff, I have so many clothes, shoes, etc but the purses are so cute. I'll use the puppy one today when I run errands later.

On Saturday from 2pm till 10pm the neighbors had a big outdoor birthday party, it was pretty loud. At about 10 I was putting my little dog out when I heard singing and realized it was Happy Birthday, but in Spanish. Good thing the old puppy can't hear well anymore or he would have really barked. On Xmas Eve '03 they had a party from 7pm till 4am and they were so loud I couldn't sleep. They already have their numerous cars parked everywhere. At least it didn't go really late.

Tonight I'm going to try and do the Karn Voight BLT on the Ball tape. I got it months ago and watched it once but haven't tried it yet. It's only 20 minutes, I need to at least try. Gotta go.

Thursday

Yesterday I got some neutral pink mohair yarn, 6 balls. I know I could make a scarf but I'm sure there will be a lot left over so maybe I'll make something different. I also got some new Reeboks.

Today I went to Molbaks Nursery in Woodinville. It was really crowded because they are having a big buy one get one free sale. Mom got 2 plants, I don't know what they are called we've never had any like them before. I was going to get some lemon balm but they only had 2 left and they looked pretty bad. I'm going to tape Craig Kilborne, the Calling will be on. That's it for now.

Sunday

Well today is Fathers Day. Whoopi. Not really. My dad passed away in 1987 and grandpa in 1995. Maybe someday I'll have a father in law or husband to celebrate with but for now, bah humbag. And now on to brighter things.

Yesterday I got 2 new Victoria's Secret bras, it's the semi-anual sale you know. They are just great. I'm wearing the sports one now, it's very comfy. I watched the Marry Higgins Clark movie on PAX. The actress that played Sidney on Melrose Place was the star, it was pretty good for a MHC. I also watched the new yoga zone video it looks like a real sweatfest so I'm saving it for a cooler day. Good, but tough. I really like Alan Finger he's got such a calm voice, great accent and great sense of humour. Sara Ivahoe's voice bugs the shit out of me but I still like her Candlelight Yoga and Joy of Yoga tapes.

Today I'm wearing my new stopometer for the first time that I got a few days ago at McDonalds. No, I didn't eat there. I just bought the stepometer for $2.99. Such a deal. I'm up to 2759 so far today.

Today went to Costco and Home Depot. At Home Depot I bought a sweet basil plant and a greek oregano plant. I already have a spicy lemon tyme I bought in April last year at Molbaks. Now I'll have my own home grown herbs for my special pasta sauce. Just got to get them planted somewhere, don't know where yet. My prayer plant is doing great with the new soil. Back to work.

Saturday

Lots of pain today. Maybe it's the weather, it's hot a very humid. Thursday night late and early Friday morning there was a bad thunder and lightening storm, then yesterday evening the power went of for 50 minutes right after I made ice cream. Luckily it didn't melt after all that hard work. Today I got a new yoga video, Yoga Zone Flexibility and Stress Release Intermediate. It's 60 minutes long. Maybe I'll try it later. I have lots of work so that's it for now. I sure hope it rains.

Tuesday

Sunday night I did the Stephanie Foster video it's only 15 minutes then the old Denise Austin Stretching tape. Some the the stretches seem extreme. My favorite stretching tape is the one with Tamilee Webb, not so hard you'll over stretch your knee like I did. I should have know better, but it's not to bad.

Yesterday morning I trimmed up some of the bushes in the backyard and pulled out the Indian plum tree. Today my arms and chest are a bit sore. In the afternoon we went and watched the house fire nearby. It was a very large house and just smoked and burned and didn't seen to smell that bad until right before we left then it was like the smell when you bake shrinky dinks. The garage had exploded before we got there. They had a ladder truck from the next town instead of ours and a medic one unit from yet another nearby town. Weird. I talked to this really cute guy who is going to train to become a firefighter this summer for a local fire station.

Today I hurt pretty bad. I woke up this morning on my stomach laying on the wrong side of my face. UGH. I did have lunch unlike yesterday what with the fire and all. Bad me. Well it's back to work.

Sunday Stuff your face day

Oh, I ate to much. I had a cheese and chive scone and a lemon danish. I won't do that again, now I feel to full.

Today I got a cute honey colored 15" Vermont Teddy Bear wearing it's original blue print dress and matching hat. That makes 3 are honey, one buttercream. I just want a white one and a dark chocolate then I'll quit buying more. Or maybe a 22" and 36" in each color. We'll see. I'm starting to have to many but I just can't resist a great deal.

Back to work now, there's lots to do.

Friday

Last night we had these neat little pinwheel sandwiches, I had ham and roast beef. To much salt, but the were good. This morning I got up in the night and fell down and banged up my arm. Ouch. It's really bruised.

Today I went to Penny's but they only had the low rise boy cut briefs, they don't make the regular waist ones anymore. UGH. I got some Clinique toner. It was totally packed, I hate Bellevue Square it takes forever to park. Next time I'm going to Alderwood mall. I got a rubber resistance exercise cord with handles but my arm is to banged up to use it yet.

Rainy Thursday.

Yesterday I took 1 ibuprofen after lunch. Soon after that I had awful pains in my stomach. Never again.

I found out that the Body Shop stopped making the Ice Blue Shampoo again. They did this before a few years ago then started making it again. I hope a lot of people complain. I do still have one unopened bottle. They are making that great grapseed toner that used to only be available in England.

Today it's cold rainy and gray and I have a lot of work to do. But I'm sure glad my stomach doesn't hurt like it did yesterday.

Monday shopping day

The Rachel Hunter video was weights and non-weights strength exercises and ab work. She does 5 sets of 10 reps each. Yikes! To many sets. 2 should be enough. She did it in the hot sun in Mexico. She's truly and Amazon. Her trainer was over a head shorter so it made her look so big. I do admire her though, she's tough. I'll try it with fewer sets, but really there aren't many different exercise in the short 35 minute tape with you cut down on the sets. Better off to use Lift weights to loose weight with Kathy smith.

Today was half of at Value Village. I got an Old Navy purple half zip fleece jacket for $1.50, a Columbia Sportswear purple jacket (with the zip out liner!!) for $5 and a pair of new exercise pants by Preview (a Nordstrom label) for $2. I am so thrifty!! Good time of the year to buy coats I guess. Well I'm happy. G'night.

Sundae Sunday

Today I bought an old Rachael Hunter Power Conditioning video from 1995. Hopefully it's weights and ab work and not aerobics. I also bought a Safeway banana split 1 layer cake, it's really good. Sounds a bit counter productive but oh well it's Sundae todae.

Yesterday was the great ice cream maker incident. It totally poured down rain when I got home. I rented About a boy with Hugh Grant. It was really good, not predictable boy meets girl like he's usually in. Ronald Reagan died, I watched part of the special on his life. It just makes it even clearer how bad a president GW Bush is. I watched the D Day 60th ceremony live, it was very early. That's about it, not much new.

Today was ok

Yesterday afternoon and evening the pain was very bad. Finally at 1am I took an Alieve. Today I've been ok. Here's hoping I stay that way. We went to Costco and looked the lawn mowers. We're looking for a self propelled one. The seemed to have a lot plastic (crappy) and still weighted a ton. Maybe Sears will have better.

Errand day

Today I ran errands. I was going to get a yoga mat for mom but didn't. Last night I watched the 2 hour episode new show Summerland on the WB. It was not worth watching, very soapy. Last Saturday she decided she wanted me to teach her some yoga stretches that would help her shoulder, it hurts her a lot. I got a Lilias Silver series video from the library today. Hope it's easy enough for beginners. We did a bit of arm stretches on Saturday night, she did ok. G'night.

No more caffeine

Last night I watched School of Rock with Jack Black. It was really good. Today I mowed the lawn. Boy am I tired. I've got that Morrissey song, "Everyday is like Sunday" stuck in my head. But it's not annoying yet. I quit drinking caffeine a week and a half ago. I had really bad headaches last week but not anymore. I'm trying to find a job. Hope I find one soon.
